Delete Your Account
How to delete your Kingdom Legacy account, what is deleted, and what is kept.
Effective date: August 10, 2026 · Last updated: August 10, 2026
This page explains how to delete your account for the Kingdom Legacy app by Kingdom Legacy Ventures LLC, on both Android and iOS. You do not need to sign in to read it.
You do not need an account to use the app. Almost everything — the games, the daily puzzles, Verse of the Day and your on-device progress — works without one. If you never created an account, there is nothing here to delete: uninstalling the app removes the progress stored on your device, and we never had a copy.
Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app
This is the fastest route and it is immediate.
- Open the Kingdom Legacy app and make sure you are signed in.
- Open the account menu and choose Account.
- Choose Delete My Account…
- Read and tick the three acknowledgements. They confirm that your account, your saved Journey progress, and your Competitive XP, Competitive Level and leaderboard presence are permanently removed.
- Confirm it is really you. For a sensitive action we email you a short-lived confirmation code, or ask for your password again.
- Choose Permanently Delete.
The app confirms when it is done. It is permanent, and signing up again with the same email address does not bring anything back.
If your account is the only thing standing between you and a clean start, you can also just sign out instead — that leaves your account intact and removes nothing.
Option 2 — ask us to delete it
If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us:
privacy@kingdomlegacyworks.com
Send the request from the email address on the account and say that you want the account deleted. If you write from a different address we will have to verify that the account is yours before we delete anything, because otherwise anyone could delete anyone's account.
We aim to confirm within 30 days. We will tell you when it is done.
What is deleted
Everything below is destroyed when your account is deleted:
- your email address and credentials;
- your Journey and your devotional reading history;
- your XP, level, titles and badges;
- your display name and Competitive profile;
- your leaderboard placement;
- your saved items and reading streak;
- your synchronised progress held in your account.
Progress stored only on your device is removed from the device as part of the same action. Uninstalling the app also removes it, and we cannot recover it either way.
What can survive, and why
A small amount of information can outlive the account. Nothing in this table is used to rebuild your account or to contact you.
| Survives | Why | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| A minimal record that a deletion happened | So we can confirm it and so it cannot be replayed | A limited period |
| Aggregate or de-identified statistics | No longer personal information | Indefinitely, but not linkable to you |
| Content another person reported, minimised | So a safety report is not erased by the person reported | While needed |
| A minimised moderation record — that a Competitive display name was rejected, replaced or withdrawn | So a safety decision is not undone by deleting the account, and a removed name cannot simply be re-registered | While needed |
| Server and provider logs | Their normal short retention; not individually controllable | Providers' periods |
| Anything we must keep by law | Legal obligation | As required |
One thing account deletion does not remove
A for-fun leaderboard entry you submitted as a guest is not attached to your account, so deleting your account does not remove it. Those entries are deleted 90 days after you submit them, on their own schedule. The for-fun boards are separate from the Competitive leaderboards, and your Competitive presence is removed with your account.
